Wenham accuses Tottenham of 'negligence' and 'harm' as White stunted by dreadful management
A “chain of bad decisions” has led to Harvey White staying at Tottenham this season which is stunting his growth.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
White remains at Tottenham despite the club turning down multiple loan offers during the summer.
Wenham has revealed Portsmouth wanted to take him back after his successful loan spell last season.
He is yet to play for Tottenham this season and Wenham claims White’s development is being stunted as a result.
He accused Spurs of negligence over their treatment of the 20-year-old.

“It’s poor management,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It’s negligence towards the player really. This will harm his career for a year potentially.
“White was on loan at Portsmouth last year and did very well in League One.
“They wanted to have him again this season, those intentions were made very clear early in the summer window.
“We could have had him there for a full pre-season and he could be playing week in week out.
“They are a decent club who look like they might go up. That experience could be invaluable.
“Instead, he’s with the Under 23 and he’s levels above that. That, in turn, blocks Under 18s from stepping up.
“It’s a chain of bad decisions.”
White has made two senior appearances for Tottenham.
He has also made two appearances for England’s Under 18s.
