Wenham fumes at Nuno's treatment of White as Tottenham transfer snub revealed
Harvey White turned down multiple loan offers this summer under the assumption he would be given a chance to play for Tottenham in Europe.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
White was an unused sub when Tottenham beat NS Mura in the Europa Conference League last week.
The 20-year-old midfielder was overlooked in favour of Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura after the Slovenian side pulled a goal back.
Wenham was left frustrated by White’s omission as the player may have missed the chance to make an impact this season.
“I’ll be honest with you, I don’t want to take negatives from that game,” Wenham told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.

“But, I’m sorry, what was that? Mura created one chance and they scored it. That’s all they created, there was no need for mass panic.
“Even if worst came to the worst and we drew the game, we have four games left in the group with the hardest game played.
“It was a great chance to give some of our young players a go. I’m not sure why Nuno brought on the likes of Kane.
“We have perfectly good young players out there who need minutes. Harvey White is the perfect example.
“I know he turned down League One and Two loan moves this summer because he thought he would get a chance to play in those games.
“He’s not the only one as well.”
White has made two senior appearances for Spurs.
He spent last season on loan at Portsmouth.
