West Ham could lose Bowen to Premier League rivals in '£60m+' deal after source's transfer reveal

Liverpool are not the only club looking to make a move for West Ham star Jarrod Bowen.

That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the attacker’s electric form.

Bowen, 25, scored both of West Ham’s goals as his side cruised to a 2-0 win over Norwich on Wednesday (12 January).

A Liverpool source told Football Insider (13 January) that Reds scouts were in attendance on Wednesday as they keep close tabs on the ex-Hull star ahead of the summer window.

Intriguingly, the former Hull City man is also “keen” on joining Liverpool, the source added, if a deal can be agreed.

“He’s been on fire, what a signing he’s turned out to be,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“Liverpool won’t be the only club looking at him. He is in the form of his life.

“He’s taken some of the burden off Michail Antonio which was needed and he just looks so cool.

“West Ham aren’t a million miles away from second in the league and Bowen is a big part of that.

“Whether Liverpool can afford to sign him is a different question altogether.

“West Ham will not want to lose him but they could if the right offer comes in.

” I said they would demand £60million a few weeks ago, that’s getting higher every time he plays.”

Bowen’s midweek brace took his tally to eight goals and 10 assists in 30 appearances so far this season.

West Ham are next in action against Leeds on Sunday (16 January).
