West Ham could sell Jarrod Bowen amid '£150m' transfer claim - pundit
Noel Whelan has insisted Jarrod Bowen is “priceless” to West Ham amid “whispers” of a potential summer transfer.
However, the former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, admitted that a huge bid could be enough to tempt the Irons into selling the 25-year-old.
A Liverpool source told Football Insider in January that the Reds are keeping close tabs on Bowen ahead of the summer.
Notably, the source also stated the winger would be “keen” to make the move to Anfield.
Whelan insisted Bowen’s performances would have more than the Reds sniffing around this summer.
However, he insisted only an enormous transfer fee would convince the Irons to cash in.

Whelan told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “You and I know that if you’re a successful player, just like Declan Rice, and you’re getting the spotlight on you for performances throughout not just one season but two and three seasons, there are always clubs looking.
“There are always clubs looking. It doesn’t mean they’ve got to sell, West Ham, or want to sell but it will be in the back of their mind.
“They’ll know there will be certain kinds of headlines or whispers about their players. That means to me, as a manager, if it was my player, that my players are doing something right. I would be chuffed to bits.
“I wouldn’t be too fussed about the speculation. That comes down to the club and whether you can or can’t sell.
“If somebody wants to give me £150million for Jarrod Bowen, I would probably say: ‘Thank you for your services. All the very best.’
“But look, I think right now for West Ham, he’s priceless.”
Bowen has netted 14 goals and contributed 11 assists in 41 appearances this season.
