'Filthy', 'Unreal' - West Ham fans rave about one player following 3-0 win v Stoke

West Ham will have Manuel Lanzini to thank following their 3-0 victory over struggling Stoke, as the Argentine had arguably his best performance of the season so far.

It was not without controversy however, as the 24-year-old was accused of diving to earn West Ham their penalty in the first half.

Including that penalty, Lanzini had a hand in all of the goals, as he tallied two assists; the first of which was a sublime pass to club record signing Marko Arnautavić.

West Ham fans took to Twitter to rave about the young talent:

It is a shame that such a positive performace is almost certainly going to end in retrospective action from the FA for the alleged dive; via means of the replays it seemed as though Lanzini had started diving before any contact was made.

But the performance is encouraging for Hammers fans who haven’t had a lot to cheer in recent months.

Up next for the Hammers is the League Cup quarter-final fixture against club rivals Arsenal, and fans will be desperate for their enigmatic Argentinian to be able to play if they are to keep up this impressive run of form.
