'Sign him up' - West Ham fans react on Twitter as 25-year-old flop scores brace
By Will Butcher
West Ham fans have reacted with frustration on Twitter after Simone Zaza scored a brace for Valencia in their 3-1 win over Granada on Sunday.
Zaza, 25, flopped at West Ham during the first half of the 2016-17 season, and failed to find the back of the net once while on loan from Italian champions Juventus.
It saw him end his season-long loan at the halfway point in January, before LaLiga outfit Valencia decided to try their luck on him.
The move to Spain’s top flight has proved to be a success for the Italy international, as he got on the end of two crosses to score a brace in the first half of Los Che’s convincing win.
The former Sassuolo forward has now scored four goals in 14 games for Valencia, after finding the back of the net against Real Madrid and Athletic Bilbao.

Zaza made 11 appearances in all competitions during his time at the London Stadium, but failed to find the back of the net even once as he struggled to adapt to the rigours of English football.
