West Ham star Aaron Cresswell has been involved in a heated exchange with Anthony Knockaert, as the pair headed for the tunnel at half-time.
During the Premier League fixture between the Hammers and the Sea Gulls yesterday afternoon, the England international made a hefty challenge on the Brighton Winger, that saw the Frenchman requiring medical treatment.
However, at the stroke of half-time, Knockaert made a beeline for Cresswell, and according to the Daily Mail, teammates had to get involved to stop the interchange becoming physical.
Cresswell found himself in the book for his challenge, but Knockaert was furious and decided to take matters into his own hands.
The instance was a rare one for the West Ham starlet, as this was only his fourth yellow card of the entire season so far, having played in 28 games in all competitions.
The same cannot be said for the fiery Frenchman, who has picked up more cards than Cresswell with five, in fewer games.
In other West Ham news, some Hammers fans took to Twitter before the fixture to react to David Moyes hinting this player would start versus Brighton.
