Hause will be West Ham 'superstar' as Moyes backed to pull off cut-price raid - pundit
Kortney Hause has what it takes to be a “superstar” at West Ham – and his contract situation means he’ll be available for a cut-price fee.
So says ex-Premier League goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 26-year-old Aston Villa centre-back.
As revealed by this site on 14 August, Hause is being eyed by the Hammers as they look to strengthen their defence this summer.
Hause has a year remaming on his Villa Park contract and Birmingham Live reported in July that he was set to be offered fresh terms.
But he has since fallen further behind Tyrone Mings and Ezri Konsa in Dean Smith’s centre-back pecking order following the arrival of Axel Tuanzebe.
And Kenny insisted that the time is right for Hause to go and be the “main man” at the London Stadium.

He told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams: “I really rate David Moyes, and for players like that I think he can be amazing.
“If he has that opportunity to go and be the superstar at West Ham, be the main man, I don’t see why he wouldn’t take it.
“He’s a bit lower down now at Villa after they got the lad from Man United in, so it would be a great move for him.
“He hasn’t got long left on his contract, so you can see him getting that move for not exactly a huge fee.
“West Ham are a club on the up, for me. I think they’d be a great destination for him to push on under David Moyes.“
