West Ham to consider ‘big-money’ Taty Castellanos offer as Everton line up summer transfer

West Ham United are ready to “consider” any “big-money” offers that come in for Taty Castellanos this summer amid interest from Everton, sources have told Football Insider.

Sources say that West Ham are open to the idea of cashing in after their relegation to the Championship, but would be looking to recoup as much of the £25million that they paid for him as possible.

The Toffees have the 27-year-old as part of a long list of striker targets for the upcoming window, having previously been admirers of him during his time at Lazio.

The Merseysiders have been impressed by the Argentine’s form since he arrived in the Premier League back in January, and they are now weighing up a possible move for him ahead of next season.

Everton have a new striker as one of their top priorities for the upcoming window, and view a £25m swoop for Castellanos as a move that would provide good value for money.

Taty Castellanos’ agent already working on summer exit

Former West Ham scout Mick Brown told Football Insider last week that Castellanos’ agent is already working to find a move for him this summer, as the frontman is not keen on the idea of playing second-tier football next term.

Brown understands that his camp have already been speaking to clubs to try and drum up interest for their client, which could ultimately force West Ham into a sale.

The Irons are expected to lose several of their key players after they dropped out of the Premier League, and that appears set to potentially benefit the likes of Everton.

Castellanos netted six league goals from just 18 appearances in the second half of last season, and has already proven that he has what it takes to be a success in the top flight.

Everton want to bolster their options up front, with Beto and Thierno Barry both providing issues in terms of their lack of consistency.

Everton already working on second West Ham raid

Football Insider revealed last week that Everton are also working on a deal to sign West Ham left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf this summer, as part of a second raid at the London Stadium.

The Toffees are ready to try to meet the “big asking price” put in place by the newly-relegated side, who are keen to ensure that they land a sizeable profit for their star.

Diouf was one of the few bright sparks for West Ham in their dismal 2025-26 campaign, as he ended the Premier League season with five assists to his name.

David Moyes is keen to add further quality to his squad in both full-back positions, and Diouf is a player who ticks several boxes in terms of the profile that he is looking for.
