West Ham told to U-turn on Nikola Vlasic after transfer update - Campbell
Kevin Campbell is adamant Nikola Vlasic can be a success at West Ham despite an indifferent first season at the London Stadium.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Arsenal and Everton striker stressed the difficulty of settling into the Premier League when discussing the 24-year-old’s future.
West Ham signed Vlasic from CSKA Moscow in a £34.5million including add-ons last August.
The Croatia international struggled to make an impact on David Moyes’ side, with Manuel Lanzini, Said Benrahma, Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals all preferred.
According to Hammers insider’s Claret and Hugh (9 June), the club are looking to offload the attacking midfielder this summer.
West Ham are said to be open to both permanent and loan offers for Vlasic, who has four years remaining on his current contract.

When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on Vlasic’s situation, Campbell said: “It is always difficult to settle into the Premier League.
“It is not easy. You need to get used to the speed of the game.
“Players tend to get a lot better with time because they get used to it. I think Vlasic will get better if he’s given a chance next season.
“Moyes will want proven Premier League players this summer but they come at a premium. You have to move and shake and be smart with how you do your work.
“Premier League proven players are wanted by a lot of teams. It is difficult to get them.”
