West Ham told to U-turn on Zouma amid Sky reveal - Robinson
West Ham should not hesitate to pay Chelsea’s £25million asking price for Kurt Zouma, according to Paul Robinson.
The former Spurs and England number one, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, heaped praise on the 26-year-old and suggested he could be just the player David Moyes needs to sure up his defence.
The Hammers are in the market for a centre-back after Fabian Balbuena was released at the end of June.
According to Sky Sports‘ Dharmesh Sheth, West Ham and Chelsea are £4million apart in their valuation of £25million-rated Zouma.
Personal terms are also said to be an issue so the Irons are exploring other options like Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic as a result.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if it was worth reviving a deal for Zouma, Robinson said: “Pay it.

“That is a deal worth pushing over the line at that price.
“I think Zouma is a very good player with a lot of Premier League experience for someone his age. He’s played for two big clubs in Chelsea and Everton so he has shown that he can handle the pressure.
“West Ham need defensive reinforcements. They were weak at the back towards the end of the season.
“Zouma is a steady player and he doesn’t make many errors. His game time at Chelsea looks as if it will be limited so a move to West Ham could work for all parties.”
