West Ham United's squad continues to change despite the 2026-27 Championship season kicking off last weekend.

A late Zian Flemming brace stopped the Hammers from starting the new season with three points, drawing 2-2 at Turf Moor on Sunday, 16 August.

Still, Nuno Espirito Santo's side are favourites to win the entire division this term, having been relegated from the Premier League in shock circumstances.

Since then, Mateus Fernandes, Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug have jumped ship, and a whole host of new faces have come aboard.

Manor Solomon and Arne Engels, in particular, have arrived with a lot of excitement and expectation, while time still remains in the summer window.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the latest player to secure an exit from the London Stadium, joining Aston Villa on loan for the 2026-27 campaign.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaves West Ham - 'How embarrassing'

Football Insider revealed earlier this month Unai Emery could play Wan-Bissaka at centre-back, rather than his natural full-back role.

Emery has now got his man, and the reaction emerging from East London is hardly emotional, with fans clearly rejoicing at the news instead.

Labelling him "another rat," West Ham fans now want Jean-Clair Todibo to seek an exit before the closure of the window, clearly unhappy with the duo.

The majority are also "embarrassed" that Wan-Bissaka was voted West Ham's 2024-25 Player of the Season, given the manner of his exit this summer.

Could Jean-Clair Todibo leave this summer?

Realistically, Todibo should have been one of the first names out of the exit doors after a falling-out with Nuno was made public last season.

Football Insider understood that the Hammers planned to accept an offer for the Frenchman, but with 11 days of the window left, he's still there.

Unsurprisingly, he wasn't included in the matchday squad to face Burnley. The £32.8million spent on the defender looks like a total waste of money.

If he is to leave this summer, a move to Serie A looks to be on the cards, with Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli all interested, and Marseille also in the conversation.
