West Ham United forward Crysencio Summerville will definitely be leaving the club if they are relegated from the Premier League.

That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, who also names Jarrod Bowen and Mateus Fernandes as players who could leave the London Stadium in the summer.

West Ham are fighting to remain in the Premier League this season, with Nuno Espirito Santo's side only inside the bottom three on goal difference.

The club's finances though will make player sales in the summer a necessity, regardless of whether Premier League safety is secured in the final eight matches of the season.

Summerville is one of West Ham's most valuable players, and the club would be looking to make a profit on the £25million they paid Leeds United in 2024.

Crysencio Summerville has 'no shortage of suitors'

Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs - is in no doubt about Summerville's future at West Ham.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast, Wyness thinks the Hammers will sell a "big name" in the summer transfer window.

He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “Certainly relegation, he'd be gone. Summerville will be gone, no doubt about it.

"He's caught the eye, he's done very well, and he's fighting hard for West Ham, showing himself to be a quality player, and he's got no shortage of suitors.

"But even if they stayed up, the financial constraints that West Ham are in right now may mean that one of their big names will have to be sold anyway.

"And that's the difficult thing and there will be Fernandes, Summerville, Bowen, those would be the sort of names that would be on everybody's lips in terms of what they're going to do.”

West Ham in Emmanuel Fernandez transfer race

Sources have told Football Insider that West Ham's hopes of signing Rangers defender Emmanuel Fernandez hinge on remaining in the Premier League.

West Ham are also keen to agree a permanent deal with Chelsea for Axel Disasi, highlighting that Nuno wants to strengthen his defence next season.

Fernandez's displays at Rangers mean the 24-year-old has caught the attention of many clubs, and Danny Rohl has no intentions of letting him leave Ibrox.
