Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to react to the club’s reported bid for Besitkas centre-back Dusko Tosic.
Turkish news outlet Aksam claims that the Hoops have bid around £2.5million for the 32-year-old, with the Turkish side wanting £3.5million.
The report also claims that the defensive warrior doesn’t want to leave Turkey, but that the club would take the money.
The news has surprised Hoops fans, many of whom don’t believe that the club would spend that much money on a player in his 30s.
Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to the Tosic rumour:

The Serbia international would be eligible to play in the Europa League last 32 clash with Zenit next month, games for which January signing Marvin Compper is ineligible.
Tosic would be replacing Erik Sviatchenko in the squad, following his return to Denmark, although unlike the Danish international Tosic would seem to be earmarked as a first-team regular, especially at that money.
Celtic have had issues at centre-back in the first-half of the season, with former mainstay Jozo Simunovic’s form deteriorating badly.
He has been replaced in the side by Norwegian teenager Kristoffer Ajer, who has steadied the ship alongside Dedryck Boyata, helping the Bhoys to five consecutive clean sheets.
