Olivier Ntcham “must have some agent” after sealing a loan move from Celtic to Marseille on deadline day, according to Alex McLeish.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Rangers and Scotland boss admitted he was stunned the 24-year-old had managed to join “one of the top teams in Ligue 1” after struggling for game time at Parkhead.
As confirmed by Celtic on Monday, the midfielder has returned to his native France for the rest of the 2020/21 campaign.

As revealed by Football Insider, Marseille have an obligatory purchase clause which will see Ntcham join permanently at the end of the season.
The Frenchman struggled for game time in his final few months at Parkhead, with just one league appearance under his belt since the start of December.
He was a mainstay for the Hoops after joining from Manchester City and was a regular in their treble-winning campaigns, but has since fallen out of favour under Neil Lennon.
McLeish applauded the midfielder’s agent for getting him a move to Marseille after watching Ntcham play a bit-part role at Parkhead.
“For him to get a move to Marseille, wow,” McLeish told Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge.
“To go to Marseille and Ligue 1 – one of the top teams in Ligue 1 – after going through such a bad spell of form, a bad spell of not being in the team, then he must have some agent.
“There is still a good player there.”
Marseille have fallen into chaos in recent weeks, with fans storming the training ground and manager Andre Villas-Boas suspended over comments criticising the club’s transfer policy.
Having staked an early claim as title hopefuls this season, they currently sit ninth in the table – 18 points off league leaders Lille.
