Zian Flemming is attracting the attention of several Premier League sides as Leeds United aim to beat their rivals to his signature this summer.

Flemming has been a shining light in a dismal season for Burnley and is expected to move on to pastures new this summer.

The Dutchman reached double figures for goals in the Premier League last weekend with a strike against Aston Villa.

Leeds are keen on his signature, but as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, they may need to ramp up their interest as numerous other top flight sides keep tabs on his good form.

Daniel Farke is set to build Leeds’ transfer plans around improving his attacking options as they look to move up the Premier League table next season.

Leeds will face competition from abroad for Zian Flemming’s services

Sources have revealed to Football Insider that Coventry are also keen on Flemming following their promotion to the Premier League.

The 27-year-old has proven his credentials in the Premier League this season, with his impressive recent showings alerting clubs across Europe to his availability this summer.

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “I think Leeds and a number of clubs will have taken note of Flemming.

“He’s probably been the shining light for Burnley in a disappointing season with 10 goals in the Premier League. Flemming has had a very good season, personally.

“With now Burnley suffering relegation from the Premier League, the vultures will probably be circling for their best players, and there is no doubt that Flemming is among those top performers

“Leeds, again, could be a good fit for him because they probably will look to strengthen their attacking options in the summer.

“I think there’ll be interest abroad as well, probably from his native Netherlands, with clubs maybe hoping that they could lure him back.

“He’s a player that Burnley are probably expecting interest and offers for, and they’re going to probably have to cash in on them if he does have interest from clubs in the Premier League and even from top clubs from abroad as well.”

Wilson Isidor is also on Leeds’ radar amid Sunderland struggles

Farke is clearly planning to make additions to his centre-forward options this summer, with Joel Piroe set to leave after a tough season at Elland Road.

As well as Flemming, Football Insider’s sources have exclusively revealed that Sunderland striker Isidor is a target for Leeds ahead of the summer window.

The Haiti international scored four goals in his first nine top-flight appearances following their promotion, but has struggled for regular game time in recent months as Brian Brobbey is preferred by Regis Le Bris.

Isidor is believed to be open to a move to Elland Road, but it remains to be seen if they are set to choose between him and Flemming or want to sign both players this summer.
