There’s a good chance that Heckingbottom will raid his former club Barnsley for full-back Andy Yiadom in the summer.
The Yorkshire Evening Post has reported that Yorkshire giants are keen to sign the 26-year-old on a free transfer when his deal at Oakwell expires.
The one-time Ghana international can play at right and left-back and would be an upgrade on the under-performing Gaetano Berardi and Luke Ayling.
