Ayling, 25, is naturally a right-back but is known for his versatility from his days as an Arsenal youth player.
Still able to fill in at the heart of the Leeds defence, Ayling featured at centre-back against Liverpool last season in the EFL Cup.
Known for his aerial prowess and composure on the ball, the former Bristol City ace is probably Leeds best option with Vurnon Anita coming in at right-back.
