Celtic player ratings v Brechin: Defender 5/10 in routine win
MIDFIELD
Scott Brown – 7: Seemed right up for his first game in three weeks and put in his usual committed performance, he will once again be a huge player for the Hoops in the coming weeks.
Olivier Ntcham – 8: Superb performance by the summer signing from Manchester City. The 21-year-old came close to scoring on a number of occasions before he headed in the third goal, should be a mainstay in the side.
James Forrest – 7: Finished off a superb team goal after only two minutes for his 13th goal of the season, seems to be a certainty he’ll be nominated as player of the year.
Callum McGregor – 6: Better than he’s been in recent weeks with two assists, but still not playing at the level he knows he can, he badly needs a goal too.
Scott Sinclair – 7: A goal – his 16th of the season – and an assist so you can’t really complain. Looked a class above his Championship opponents.
