Dorus de Vries – 4: Once again a very poor performance from the Dutchman in Europe, was pathetic with the second Zenit goal, should be replaced by Scott Bain for Sunday’s game against Aberdeen
Mikael Lustig – 3: The senior player looks shot to pieces in all honesty after a nightmare outing in the Europa League. Seemed to regress badly after a good performance in the first leg, another who the Hoops could do with replacing in the team immediately
Jozo Simunovic – 4: Pitiful attempt at man-marking lead to the first Zenit goal as Ivanovic had a free header, back to his usual erratic self after a good performance in the first leg, another who can go in the summer
Kristoffer Ajer – 5: The best defender on the night which isn’t really saying much, didn’t seem to go to pieces like Simunovic and de Vries did, blameless compared to some of the others who played
