Alex McLeish (6/1)

Rangers

McLeish’s name is mentioned everytime the Rangers job is discussed and it’s no surprise to see SkyBet pricing McLeish at 6/1 to replace Caixinha.

The former Scotland boss knows the job well having spent five years in charge of Rangers from 2001 to 2006.

McLeish’s last management role was with Egyptian side Zamalek and the 58-year-old has become something of a journeyman in recent years with spells in Egypt, Belgium and England.

He is still the last Rangers boss to lift a domestic treble and would definitely give the Gers some much needed steel if he was to replace Caixinha.

Some fans still hold his record at the end of his time at Ibrox against him but he’s a known quantity that the board can trust.

In other Rangers news, Ally McCoist has slammed Caixinha after his contradictory remarks from the Motherwell loss.
