£10m duo dominate list of five worst Wolves signings in the 21st century
5. Freddy Eastwood
Signed from: Southend – Fee (approx): £1.5million – Appearances: 31
Eastwood was on fire for Southend before Wolves decided to splash the cash on him in 2007.
However the then-Wales international would go on to become a player to forget in what was a simply awful spell in the Black Country.
Eastwood, somehow, was ever-present in the season he signed, playing 31 times in all competitions.
But after signing for £1.5million, he scored just three goals and Mick McCarthy cashed on him just a year later to Coventry.
