Aaron Ramsdale: Chelsea plotting raid for Arsenal 25-yr-old who wants to leave
Chelsea could move again for Arsenal shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale in the summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed Blues transfer chiefs see the 25-year-old as a good option despite his demotion to second-choice at the Emirates Stadium this season.
Sources told Football Insider on Monday (26 February) that Ramsdale is keen to leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Mauricio Pochettino is keen to improve his goalkeeping department this summer despite signing two new shot-stoppers just last year (2023).
Football Insider revealed last week (21 February) that Chelsea are planning to sign a new number-one shot-stopper after failing to do so in January.

Meanwhile, the Londoners also plan to listen to offers for Robert Sanchez, 26, who close to an injury comeback after his last appearance against Everton in December 2023.
Dorde Petrovic, 24, has deputised for Sanchez during his time on the treatment table.
Ramsdale has emerged as a top target for Chelsea after he was replaced by David Raya at London rivals Arsenal.
The England international has made 10 appearances across all competitions this season, conceding 11 goals and keeping three clean sheets.

It is believed multiple other Premier League and European clubs are ready to join the race and submit formal bids to Arsenal for the out-of-favour shot-stopper.
The ex-Bournemouth and Sheffield United star only signed a new contract in May 2023, keeping him at Arsenal until June 2026.
