Aaron Ramsey: Pundit issues verdict on Rangers star being ‘disrespectful’ to Ibrox staff after £30,000 reveal
Aaron Ramsey is doing everything he can to get fully fit for Rangers after he paid £30,000 to fly in specialists to Glasgow, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Premier League and England defender insisted Ramsey was not being disrespectful to the existing Rangers medical team.
The Scottish Sun reported on Thursday (3 March) the Wales international had forked out a whopping £30,000 in a bid to regain full fitness.
He has flown out specialists from various parts of the world after he picked up a knock during the Gers’ 4-2 win over Borussia Dortmund last month (17 February).
The on-loan Juventus star finally returned to the matchday squad yesterday (5 March) as Rangers beat Aberdeen 1-0 at Ibrox.
“Time will tell what impact it has,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“He’s doing everything he possibly can to get fully fit. Sometimes a physio who knows the injury and knows the player is beneficial.
“He’s not being disrespectful to the Rangers medical staff, he’s got a long-term issue that they have dealt with a long time. They know what it is and, hopefully, know how to treat it.
“He’ll work in the conjunction with them and the Rangers staff. If he is prepared to do that, good on him. He clearly wants to be fit and wants to play.”

Ramsey has managed just 94 minutes of action for Rangers since his January move across four appearances.
His only start for the Light Blues came in a 3-0 win over Annan Athletic in the Scottish Cup last month.
In other news, a Rangers 25-year-old has told his agent to find him a new club after crunch Ibrox talks.
