Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s time at Man United is up after source’s £50m new signing reveal – pundit
Frank McAvennie has claimed Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s time at Man United is up.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers defender insisted it is “time for a change” at Old Trafford.
On 22 February, sources told this site that the 25-year-old is giving serious thought to quitting the club at the end of the season.
The right-back has had a resurgence at United since the World Cup break and had started 12 straight games in all competitions whilst Diogo Dalot was injured.
The defender was left out of the starting XI for United’s 2-0 win over Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday (26 February).
The Red Devils are exploring the option of signing another right-back in the summer and are willing to listen to offers for Wan-Bissaka if they complete a deal for a replacement.
Football Insider revealed on Saturday that one of their top targets is Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong, who is valued by his club at the £40-50million mark.
When asked if the defender’s time is up at Old Trafford, McAvennie told Football Insider: “I think so.
“I think the fans are not happy with him. He has not set the heather alight, he comes in and has been lethargic.

“I think he can do better than what he has been doing. Whether that is something to do with the manager not believing in him I do not know.
“There is going to be movement. There are a few of them that are going to move on and it is time for a change. Ten Hag has got them all interested in Man United again.“
In other news, according to sources, Man United have active interest in signing Harry Kane after talks update.
