Agbonlahor can’t believe Mohamed Salah could quit Liverpool and sign for giants after source’s news
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted Mohamed Salah should not be sold by Liverpool – and urged Jurgen Klopp to build his side around him.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the Merseysiders can’t afford to lose Sadio Mane and the 30-year-old in the space of 12 months if they wish to remain competitive.
Sources told this site on Saturday (25 February) that Paris Saint-Germain have an interest in Liverpool superstar Salah amid doubts over the futures of Neymar and Leo Messi.

Football Insider revealed earlier this month (11 February) that the Egyptian forward is the one superstar the Merseysiders may be willing to sell this summer who could secure a huge fee.
Salah signed a new contract running until June 2025 last summer – with a further £48.5m financial commitment on the deal left to pay.
The former Chelsea star has managed eight league goals in 23 outings this season.
Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “I would keep him if I was Liverpool.
“You’ve only just given him a long-term contract.
“Why would you want to sell him now?
“They still need to build the team around him and get the last three years of his career out of him.
“His pace will go after that, he won’t be an elite player.

“But you can’t lose Salah and Mane in the space of a year – it just won’t work. If they think it’s bad now, it can only get worse if he moves on.
“They’ve got to improve that midfield and play through him because we’ve still seen that he can do the business.”
