Agbonlahor: Costa tipped to join Championship club after Leeds reveal
Gabby Agbonlahor has suggested Helder Costa would be more suited to a Championship side than Leeds United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward suggested the Whites need to replace the winger if they want to improve next season.
Football Insider learned on 9 July that Costa could follow fellow big-earner Kiko Casilla out of the Elland Road exit door this summer.
The Whites are willing to listen to offers for the 27-year-old who may push for an exit if another wide player is brought in.
It is understood that is more likely to happen than not.
Football Insider learned in May Leeds are willing to pay up to £25million for a young forward capable of playing across the front line.

Casilla completed his season-long loan move to La Liga side Elche yesterday (12 July).
Asked whether it was the right time for Costa to leave Leeds, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Yes, I think so.
“He had his chance last season, he had his chance at Wolves. But he doesn’t look like a Premier League player to me. He looks like a player with a lot of quality but maybe a different league or the Championship may suit Costa.
“I’m sure where Leeds want to go, they’ll need players who are ready and raring to go from the bench and make an impact. They can’t just come on and be satisfactory.
“I’m sure they’ll be looking to sell him and bring in a better replacement.”
Costa scored three times and provided three assists in 22 Premier League games last term, including 13 starts.
He moved to Elland Road for a £15million fee last summer after spending the previous campaign on loan from Wolves.
