Agbonlahor issues ‘100%’ Harvey Elliott claim after Sky’s Liverpool reveal
Harvey Elliott is not ready for a full England call up despite his impressive form at Liverpool, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Elliott is “100 per cent” a future England international.
Sky Sports reported earlier this month (15 September) that Gareth Southgate had considered calling up the 19-year-old for the Three Lions’ Nations League games.

He did not make the final squad and instead linked up with the Under-21s where he won his fourth cap as a substitute in a 2-0 win over Italy.
At Liverpool, Elliott has five of their six Premier League games and both of their Champions League group games this season.
He scored his first top-flight game in the record-equalling 9-0 win over Bournemouth last month (27 August).
Asked whether his form at Anfield has shown he’s ready for full international honours, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Not yet, no.
“I think he’s a good player and he’s definitely a future England international but he’s still got to do a bit more.
“There are players in his position who are better players at the moment. In the future, 100 per cent, he will be one that will play for England.”

Elliott moved to Liverpool from Fulham as a 16-year-old in the summer of 2019 for an initial £1.5million fee that was decided by a tribunal.
He has now played 29 times across all competitions for the Reds, including 20 starts, scoring twice and providing two assists.
In other news, Kieran Maguire has claimed it is “drinks all round” in the Liverpool boardroom amid news from Premier League HQ.
