Agbonlahor: Liverpool told to ‘bomb Naby Keita out’ after source’s reveal
Naby Keita does not have a role to play at Liverpool and the club should sign a younger upgrade, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker warned Liverpool that they will be left behind if they do not freshen up their midfield.
Keita has not featured for Jurgen Klopp’s side since the Community Shield due to injury and has less than a year to run on his contract.

Sources told Football Insider last week (23 September) that the club have opened talks with the 27-year-old over a new deal.
They want to retain some of his value and do not want to lose him for free next summer.
“I don’t think he’s got a role to play,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“I feel that every team is kick on now, Spurs have signed some good midfielders, Man City look strong in midfield.
“I just feel that it is time now for Liverpool to get rid of the dead wood. Keita’s not done it since he’s been at Liverpool, he’s not going to do it.
“They’ve got to look at it now, [Jordan] Henderson’s getting on a bit, Fabinho has not been great, Thiago has done well but has got his injury problems and is not getting any younger.
“They’ve got to look at young, fresh midfielders. [Jude] Bellingham is a must and they need another young midfielder to freshen up that midfield.

“They’re miles behind Man City in that central midfield department.
“Keita’s had enough chances and he’s very injury prone. Bomb him out”.
In other news, a finance guru has claimed Liverpool are “digging in their heels” as a £250million deal is “leaked”.
