Agbonlahor name the Liverpool player Aston Villa will target on Boxing Day
Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Liverpool to sign an upgrade on Fabinho within the next 12 months.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Fabinho’s legs have gone and opposition teams will now target him.
The 29-year-old has featured in all 14 of Liverpool’s Premier League games this season but his form has been in decline.

Sources have told Football Insider that the Brazilian is set to stay at Anfield in January but a decision on his long-term future will be made in the summer.
Fabinho signed a new deal in the summer of 2021 and is under contract until the summer of 2026.
“I don’t think Fabinho’s got the legs,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“You saw for Brazil, he only played one game.
“Whenever I watch him, he’s neat on the ball but doesn’t have that change of pace. I remember watching him against Man City last season at the Etihad and he just hasn’t got that extra yard.
“If I’m Aston Villa on Boxing Day, I’m using my players to get in and around Fabinho because he’s the one who can’t get the ball back.
“Liverpool need to improve a lot in the next six months to a year and I think that position needs someone who has got more legs.
“I think it’s a case of Liverpool maybe selling him.”

This site revealed last week (13 December) that Liverpool are laying the groundwork for two new midfield signings and at least one deal could be done next month.
Jude Bellingham is Jurgen Klopp’s top target while they are also monitoring World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez.
In other news, Liverpool are in talks to sign a striker Jurgen Klopp has called “sensational”.
