Agbonlahor shares bold Newcastle v Leicester prediction after ‘bitter’ blow confirmed
There is absolutely no reason why Newcastle United cannot beat Leicester City on Sunday, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker delivered his verdict after Leicester City were dumped out of the Europa League last night (9 December).
The Foxes were beaten 3-2 away to Napoli to finish third in their group and they will now drop into the Europa Conference League.

Brendan Rodgers told BT Sport after the game the result was “bitterly disappointing”.
They are now winless in their last three games across all competitions while Newcastle picked up their first three points against Burnley last time out.
“The win over Burnley should be a turning point,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“But when you look at it, it’s three points against Burnley and a point against Norwich. These are games they should be getting points from at home.
“If you put those games to Newcastle fans at the start of the season they’d say ‘Yes, three points there. Three points there’.
“What Newcastle need to do now is to get three points off other teams that aren’t around the relegation zone.
“That’s when you can see a turning point, when you see their performances against better teams.
“With Leicester’s recent form, why can’t you go away to Leicester and get a win? Why can’t you?

“This is the Premier League. You shouldn’t look at Leicester and think ‘We’ve lost this’. They’re not playing well defensively, go and attack them and beat them. There’s no reason why they can’t.
“Newcastle can’t look at this now and think ‘We’re going to lose our next five games’. If they have that mentality they will go down.”
