Agbonlahor suggests Aaron Wan-Bissaka wants to join West Ham permanently after latest
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is open to signing for West Ham permanently, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker questioned whether West Ham should sign a “no-nonsense” right-back like Wan-Bissaka or somebody more capable of attacking.
The Manchester Evening News reported earlier this week (18 December) that the Irons are interested in signing the 25-year-old on loan from Man United in the January transfer window.

The former England youth international is under contract until the summer of 2024 but is well down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
He has only played four minutes of football under Erik ten Hag and has not started a game for Man United since April.
Asked whether a permanent move to the London Stadium could be on the cards, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “It all depends on West Ham.
“With Wan-Bissaka, everyone knows what sort of defender he is so what sort of defender do West Ham want?
“Do they want a defender who is no-nonsense and nobody beats? Or, do they want a defender with quality who can get balls into Scamacca and the attacking players?
“That’s what you’ve got to decide when you’re looking at Wan-Bissaka and that’s what West Ham have got to decide.
“I’m sure that he will be looking at more of a permanent move because he just hasn’t had a sniff at Man United.”

Wan-Bissaka has played 127 games across all competitions for Man United since his £50million move from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2019.
He has only chipped in with 12 goal contributions in that time.
In other news, Kieran Maguire has tipped an “auction” for West Ham as the “deal of the century” is cited.
