Agbonlahor: Tottenham backed to agree money-spinning Emerson Royal sale after reveal
Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Tottenham to sell Emerson Royal for as much money as possible.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Emerson is “useless” and has “not been good enough for Spurs”.
Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web reported earlier this week (30 November) that Inter Milan are interested in signing the 23-year-old.

Inter see the right-back as a possible replacement for Denzel Dumfries whose future is up in the air and has been linked with a move to Tottenham.
It is claimed that there is a possibility that Emerson could leave north London at the end of the season despite being a regular in Antonio Conte’s side.
Royal has featured in 12 of Tottenham’s Premier League games this season and only missed the other three due to a suspension he picked up after being sent off in the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on 1 October.
Asked for his verdict on Royal’s possible exit, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Emerson Royal needs to go, he’s useless.
“If I was Spurs I would sell him, get as much money as you can for him now while you’re capable of getting a fee in.
“He’s just not been good enough for Spurs.”

Royal moved to Tottenham from Barcelona in the summer of 2021 under Nuno Espirito Santo for a £25.8million fee.
The Brazilian has scored once and provided two assists in 59 games across all competitions for Spurs and is under contract until the summer of 2026.
In other news, a young Tottenham attacker has arrived at his new club after being told to leave.
