Done deal: Rangers reach agreement over temporary goalkeeper exit

Rangers goalkeeper Robby McCrorie has extended his loan stay with Berwick until the end of the season after impressing for the Shielfield club.
The League One side confirmed the new agreement on their official website.
McCrorie joined Berwick earlier this season and has kept eight clean sheets in 26 appearances since making his temporary move.
The 19-year-old shotstopper recently signed a new contract at Ibrox that will keep him with Rangers alongside twin brother Ross until 2022.
McCrorie is yet to make his first-team debut for the Gers but is highly rated by the Gers’ coaching staff.
The talented goalkeeper is a Scottish youth international and has recently been promoted into the Under-21 squad.
Football Insider verdict
Allowing McCrorie to extend his loan is a no brainer for Rangers and lets the young goalkeeper continue playing regular first-team football. With Wes Foderingham the undisputed number one at Ibrox, McCrorie could have a while to wait for an opportunity in the first-team at Rangers but can continue to play elsewhere and improve as a goalkeeper. The Scotland youth international has a huge future ahead of him – like twin Ross – and could quite easily form part of the Gers backline for a long, long time to come.  McCrorie’s performances at Berwick have earned rave reviews from fans of the only English club playing in Scotland and Rangers will be encouraged by his continued progress.
In other Rangers news, the Gers have tabled a six-figure bid for this international attacker.
