Alejandro Garnacho sends message to Man United fans as exit whispers intensify
Man United winger Alejandro Garnacho took to social media to let the fans know how much he “enjoyed” their 2-1 Europa League win over Rangers on Thursday (January 23).
Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg added fuel to the fire, reporting that discussions about a swap deal between Garnacho and Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku have taken place.
Garnacho played the full 90 minutes in the Europa League win over Rangers, ending his game having completed the most dribbles (three) in the match, created on chance, and nine touches in the opposition box.
United went ahead thanks to a Jack Butland own-goal before Cyriel Dessers scored an 88th-minute equaliser.
Bruno Fernandes, once again, proved to be the difference maker for United, scoring a 92nd-minute winner and snatching all three points.
