Alejandro Garnacho sends message to Man United teammates after swap deal news
Alejandro Garnacho has sent his Man United teammates a message following their dramatic late victory against Fulham.
Lisandro Martinez’s deflected goal in the 78th minute was enough to separate the two teams on Sunday (26 January) to get United back to winning ways in the Premier League.
The three points helped Ruben Amorim’s team climb up to 12th in the table, with the club now sitting just four points away from the top 10.
Garnacho started the game despite being linked with a move away from Old Trafford and he lasted 81 minutes before being replaced.
The Argentina international was accurate with 79 percent of his passes but was only successful with 33 percent of his dribbles.
The attacking midfielder did contribute defensively though by making four recoveries and winning two duels throughout the game.

Garnacho took to Instagram to celebrate the victory and his teammates by saying, “Well done yesterday boys.”

The post and the fact he was playing did surprise some fans though, as the 20-year-old has been at the heart of transfer speculation this month.
Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg reported that discussions with Chelsea over a potential swap deal involving Garnacho and Christopher Nkunku have taken place.

The Argentina international’s future at Old Trafford remains up in the air, but he has continued playing regularly throughout that speculation.
