Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that the 23-year-old is set to depart on a season-long loan to the Brazilian Serie A.

The Argentine will be the second Hoops player to leave the club this month, with sources revealing to Football Insider (7 March) that Liel Abada has completed his medical ahead of his £10million move to MLS outfit Charlotte FC.
