All games Dan James could miss for Leeds as Daniel Farke drops major injury update
Daniel Farke has confirmed yet more bad news about Dan James as Leeds United battle to stay afloat in the Premier League this season.
Leeds almost staged a comeback against Man City, with goals from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha, but it was not to be as Phil Foden sunk the Whites with a late winner at the Etihad.
Sean Longstaff has starred under Farke, but he was unavailable for the trip, and so too was Anton Stach, joining full-back Sebastiaan Bornauw in the treatment room at Elland Road.
Injuries have been a common theme for the West Yorkshire team this season, carrying on from the previous campaign, and that does not appear to be changing anytime soon for the under-pressure manager.

Daniel Farke confirms a crushing blow to Dan James
Speaking to the media (2 December), while he had good news about Stach’s recovery, the same could not be said about the Welsh winger, who was taken off at half-time against Man City.
He said, “Sadly, Daniel James‘ hamstring tendon is injured, and how long depends on whether he needs surgery. Looks like he can do the conservative way, but will probably miss the next eight weeks at least, could be worse with surgery.
There is obviously no definite answer over the winger’s new setback at Elland Road, but with key games coming up for club and country, he will be desperate to return to the pitch as soon as possible.
James has suffered from multiple injuries so far this campaign and is now facing another spell on the sidelines, with Football Insider taking a look at which games he could miss during that period.
