Although Mbeumo didn’t get on the scoresheet, he played a key role in Brentford’s attacking play as Yoane Wissa continued his fine goalscoring run and Kevin Schade netted twice in a standout performance.
The Cameroon international has been in excellent form this season, drawing attention from top clubs. Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Man United are monitoring Mbeumo ahead of a possible move in the summer.
Amid the transfer speculation, he shared a message on social media reaffirming his commitment to Brentford and focus on finishing the season strongly.
