‘Andy Robertson is finished’ after Liverpool development

Liverpool fans are convinced that Andy Robertson is “finished” at Anfield after Arne Slot dropped him for a second game in a row.

The Reds thrashed Bayer Leverkusen 4-0 on Tuesday (5 November) in the Champions League, but the 30-year-old left-back had to make do with watching the bulk of the game from the sidelines after Slot started Kostas Tsimikas.

Robertson was brought on for the final 10 minutes of the fixture, which marked the fourth time he has been a substitute this season.

The Scotland international was dropped for Liverpool’s Premier League game against Brighton on Sunday (11 November), with fans now questioning his long-term future at the club.

Football Insider revealed that Liverpool do still count on Robertson, with the club even being open to offering him a new contract to extend his stay at Anfield.

However, Football Insider also reported that the Reds are monitoring Rayan Ait-Nouri as the Premier League giants look for a long-term option at left-back.

Liverpool fans believe Andy Robertson’s time at Anfield is done after Arne Slot’s decision

Liverpool supporters believe that now is the time to “ship Robertson to Saudi,” while others are “giving Slot his flowers” for dropping Robertson.

The experienced left-back remains under contract at Anfield until June 2026, but fans believe he’s now “finished.”
