Andy Walker predicts Celtic clash v Aberdeen
Sky Sports’ Scottish football pundits Ian Crocker and Andy Walker have both offered predictions for the upcoming Celtic clash against Aberdeen at Celtic Park on Saturday.
In their column on the Sky Sports website, both men differ on the outcome of the game and who the key player will be.
Ian Crocker has boldly predicted a 1-1 draw, and his key man is Aberdeen’s former Celt Gary Mackay-Steven, who he says “must be relishing” his return to Glasgow, after his hat-trick for the Dons against Hibs last week.
Andy Walker disagrees with his colleague, opting for a 3-1 win for Celtic, and his key man is Bhoys midfielder Stuart Armstrong, as he was “back in goal-scoring form” in the midweek 2-0 win over Partick Thistle.
The Hoops go into the top of the table clash against the Dons five points clear of their nearest rivals following the win over Partick Thistle.
The game may well be the biggest domestic game of the season so far, as a Hoops win would take them a huge eight points clear whilst an Aberdeen victory would cut the gap between the sides down to just two points.
The first match between the sides this season was won 3-0 by the Scottish Premiership league leaders at Pittodrie thanks to a Moussa Dembele double and a goal by Kieran Tierney.
