Sky Sports pundit predicts Rangers clash v Celtic
Sky Sports’ Scottish football pundits Ian Crocker and Andy Walker have both offered predictions for the upcoming Celtic clash against Rangers at Celtic Park on Saturday.
In their column on the Sky Sports website, both men agree on the outcome of the game and who the key player will be.
Ian Crocker is predicting a comfortable 3-1 win for the Hoops, and his key man is Moussa Dembele, who he predicts will “surely have a say somewhere along the way.”
Meanwhile, Sky Sport pundit Andy Walker has tipped an emphatic 3-0 win for Bhoys, and his key man is also Dembele, who he thinks will start the game ahead of Leigh Griffiths as “Brendan Rodgers will always prefer his number one striker for the big games.”
Dembele had great success against Rangers last season, scoring five goals including the first league hat-trick in an Old Firm game since Stevie Chalmers scored one in 1966, the winner in the Betfred Cup semi-final and the equalising goal in 2-1 win at Ibrox.
He missed out on the first match of the season between the clubs at Ibrox in September with an injury, but that didn’t stop Celtic from comfortably winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths.
Celtic warned up for the game with a 2-0 win over Dundee on Boxing Day, whilst Rangers won by the same scoreline against Motherwell on Wednesday night.
