Ange Postecoglou sack latest: Tottenham update today from club source
Tottenham have no plans to sack manager Ange Postecoglou despite the club’s awful recent form, sources have told Football Insider.
Pressure is growing on the Australian after a run of below-par results and performances, with Spurs recording their latest loss away at Everton on Sunday (19 January).
However, it is believed via sources close to Spurs that there will be no knee-jerk reaction to a poor week for Spurs – which saw them also defeated away at fierce rivals Arsenal on Wednesday (15 January).
The London club are now without a win in their last six Premier League games.
Postecoglou, who arrived at the club in 2023, will need to turn fortunes around quickly – and will be given the chance to do so in winnable fixtures against Hoffenheim and Leicester this week.
The club’s dismal form comes with mitigating circumstances as Spurs are missing a huge number of first-team stars through injury.
Dominic Solanke has recently joined key men Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie and Micky van de Ven on the treatment table.
Tottenham have no plans to sack Postecoglou
Nevertheless, fans are starting to direct their anger at Postecoglou – as well as club chairman Daniel Levy.
Tottenham sit 15th in the Premier League and are only eight points above the drop zone after 21 games of the 2024-25 campaign.

Postecoglou achieved a fifth-place finish in his first season at Spurs after enjoying a trophy-laden spell at Celtic.
The Australian could yet end the club’s trophyless run this term with the Lilywhites still fighting in the League Cup, Europa League and FA Cup.
