Tottenham fans are insisting Ange Postecoglou will be sacked tonight in the wake of their Premier League defeat against Chelsea.
Spurs fell to a 4-3 defeat at home after early goals from Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski were met efforts from Jadon Sacho, Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer’s brace, before Son Heung-min scored late on to keep the scoreline respectable.
The final score was slightly flattering for the hosts, who took advantage of two early mistakes by Marc Cucurella before Son found a late consolation.
As a result, the pressure on Postecoglou’s position has ramped up yet again, with the home crowd making their frustrations hears upon the full-time whistle.
That defeat means they have taken just one win from their last seven games, albeit a 4-0 drubbing of Man City at the Etihad – form which fans have deemed unacceptable.
The manager’s gung-ho style of play has grown tiresome for the supporters, with Spurs having kept just one clean sheet in their last ten games and often throwing away leads.
Defeats to the likes of Ipswich, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth in that time have only added to the frustration, but losing a two-goal lead at home to their rivals may be the final straw.

It is a tale which rings only too familiar to the Tottenham fans, many of whom have now grown tired of their recent performances, and have begun calling for Postecoglou’s head.
Taking to social media in the wake of the defeat to Chelsea, supporters labelled the manager “embarrassing” and “a disgrace”, insisting he must be sacked “tonight”.
