Ange sacked? Tottenham expert suggests who club’s manager will be on 1 February

Tottenham fans could start asking questions of Ange Postecoglou by the end of February if results don’t improve – but he is safe from the sack in the coming weeks.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who remains closely connected to the club, admitted he’s “got confidence in Postecoglous” to turn things around and avoid a dismissal.

The 59-year-old is under growing pressure at Spurs due to their mixed results this season which have left the club 11th in the Premier League after 18 games.

Tottenham have lost nine times already, and while Postecoglou’s attacking brand of football has entertained it has left some question marks over if it can lead to long-term success.

Tottenham fans are going to ask questions of Ange Postecoglou

“Ange’s going to be given time because the results will come but they can’t keep shipping six every week,” Robinson told Football Insider.

“I’ve got confidence in him, I think he’ll turn it around.

“You forget the amount of players that they’ve got missing – get players back fit and start winning games first of February.
