Anthony Ralston just ‘ended’ Cristiano Ronaldo’s career – Celtic fans react
Celtic fans were impressed with Anthony Ralston’s performance on Tuesday night after Scotland held Portugal to a goalless draw.
The 25-year-old started for his national team and was tasked with marking Cristiano Ronaldo throughout the game.
Ralston and John Souttar managed to keep the former Real Madrid star quiet throughout the game as Steve Clarke’s side drew 0-0 against Portugal.
The defender earned his twelfth Scotland cap in the Nations League fixture, which came after a difficult start to the season for him at club level.
Ralston has only made three appearances in the Scottish Premiership this season, with all of those coming off the bench.
Ralston has been an unused substitute in Celtic’s last four matches, yet he had no problem slotting in for Scotland on Tuesday.
