Antoine Semenyo’s price tag rockets as Arsenal interest revealed
Bournemouth have enjoyed a fantastic start to the Premier League season so far with Antoine Semenyo at the heart of their success.
The Ghana international, 25, has contributed to their early form with six goals and three assists in just eight appearances across all competitions.
Following Bournemouth’s 3-1 win against Fulham, Andoni Iraola’s side have risen to fourth in the league table with four wins and one defeat in their first seven games.
However, one byproduct of their success is that it has inspired further interest in their best players, with Semenyo now on the radar of the likes of Liverpool, Man United and Tottenham.
The Cherries lost Ilya Zabarnyi, Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez and Dango Ouattara as Iraola‘s squad was raided during the summer transfer window.

Bournemouth plan to raise Antoine Semenyo asking price
Bournemouth are extremely reluctant to lose more key players following the summer exodus, and are now putting plans in place to keep hold of Semenyo.
Football Insider revealed on 3 October that Bournemouth will demand over £80million to sell Semenyo in a blow to the likes of Man United.
However, as I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Bournemouth plan to use the growing interest in the forward to further raise their asking price “beyond £100million” as they aim to deter clubs from making a move.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “Yeah, well look, there’s no surprise that some of these biggest clubs in England are looking at Semenyo.
“Liverpool, we know their links with Bournemouth through Richard Hughes, and Manchester United showed some interest in Semenyo in the summer.
“Tottenham also showed a bit of an interest during the summer, and I’m sure Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal would all consider Semenyo.
“The thing is for all those interested clubs, his price tag’s going up week by week and Bournemouth could put it up beyond £100million if his performances continue.

“Bournemouth are bracing themselves for interest in Semenyo. I don’t see a move happening in January just due to the price tag that would it take to get him out.
“I think Bournemouth probably are expecting serious offers for the player come next summer, having done well to keep hold of him this summer and tie him down to a new contract.”
Despite the growing interest in his signature, Bournemouth have no plans to let him go and will attempt to price him out of a move.
Bournemouth brace for Semenyo offers
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 7 October that Bournemouth are bracing for offers for Semenyo amid growing interest.
Despite the ever-increasing asking price, clubs have not been deterred from making moves, with a number of sides keeping tabs on his situation.
Man United and Tottenham are among the teams plotting a move for Semenyo in 2026, despite him having put pen to paper on a new deal in the summer.
Semenyo signed a brand new five-year contract with Bournemouth in July, putting rumours around a potential imminent departure to bed.
However, there is a growing feeling he could still be tempted away from the Vitality Stadium, although a summer move is more likely than one in January.
