Antonee Robinson shares training footage after Fulham star undergoes surgery
Antonee Robinson appears to have shared a major update on his return from injury as the Fulham star prepares for the 2025/26 campaign.
The American international was an extremely key player for the Cottagers last season, notching an incredible 10 league assists, only bettered by Mohamed Salah, Jacob Murphy, and Anthony Elanga.
While his performances dropped off towards the end of the 2024/25 season, it quickly became apparent why when the club confirmed the full-back had undergone surgery on his right knee back in May.
It also emerged that Robinson had been playing through the pain for much of the previous campaign, helping Marco Silva‘s side to an 11th-place finish in the Premier League, and they will await his return.
The left-back’s latest footage on social media would suggest that the 27-year-old is closing in on a return, and with Kenny Tete snubbing a move to Everton, both full-back spots are covered for next term.

Taking to Instagram stories (8 July), Robinson shared a video from the gym, lifting some heavy leg weights, simply captioned with hot dog and sweaty emojis, working his way back to full fitness.

Football Insider verdict
Many supporters feel that the Cottagers are underperforming despite positive displays under Silva’s leadership, which have seen the manager be linked with a summer move away.
Football Insider understands that Fulham were concerned about Silva’s future at Craven Cottage, but that was mainly due to links with replacing Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham, which Thomas Frank has taken.
If the Portuguese figure is backed by the boardroom this summer, it is difficult to see him pushing to leave over the coming weeks, though he does have a history of choosing ambition over loyalty.

Football Insider understands that Fulham remain interested in James McAtee, who could now leave Man City permanently, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s name has also been mentioned.
Getting Robinson back to full fitness and also a new deal for Tete will be extremely important for the Londoners next season, though more deals need to be done before the summer transfer window closes.
Andreas Pereira and Rodrigo Muniz could both leave Craven Cottage this summer, but if the stars are to leave, Silva will be expecting reinforcements to be signed.
