Antonio Conte backed to stay at Tottenham after source’s reveal – ‘something tells me,’ says expert
Alan Hutton is convinced Antonio Conte will remain at Tottenham next season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs right-back said Conte is just looking for financial backing from Daniel Levy.
On 16 February, Football Insider revealed that the club are monitoring Roberto De Zerbi of Brighton as they look for potential replacements for Conte.

The current manager’s contract is up in the summer and the London club have failed to agree an extension with the Italian.
De Zerbi is firmly on the radar of Spurs should they need to replace Conte at the end of the season and they have been impressed by his transformation of Brighton in such a short space of time.
But Hutton suggested the Lilywhites won’t need to replace Conte next season.
“I do not think he will leave if I am totally honest,” he told Football Insider.
“It is all kind of smoke and mirrors, is he trying to get more money out of Daniel Levy? I do not really know.
“De Zerbi has certainly hit the ground running, he has got a tune out the team. He is that kind of emotional character that you see on the side of the pitch and he is playing good football.

“I understand why Tottenham fans are looking at him and saying why did we not go for somebody like that? It is obviously a big risk. It has worked out for Brighton, they have done their homework on him.
“Something tells me that Conte likes all of this and I just can’t see him leaving in the summer. I think he is looking to rebuild and he is just looking for money to do that.“
In other news, according to sources, Sergio Reguilon set to return to Tottenham.
