Antonio Conte told to prepare for touchline ban after confirmed Tottenham news – pundit
Tottenham boss Antonio Conte should be handed a touchline ban for his behaviour at Stamford Bridge.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Spurs man’s FA charge.
As quoted by Mail Online (18 August), Conte claims it would be “right” if he avoids a touchline ban after his confrontation with Thomas Tuchel last weekend (14 August).

The Spurs manager clashed several times with his Chelsea counterpart as the sides played out a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Conte accepted a charge of misconduct by the FA on Thursday (18 August) though he hopes to be on the touchline for Saturday’s (20 August) game against Wolves.
However, Kenny claims Conte should expect to watch the game from the stands.
“There is a fine line with these kinds of things, especially these days,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“It is happening more, those scenes off the pitch. You want players’ discipline to be good and if you are a manager but not showing that discipline yourself then it just doesn’t look good.
“I think they will blame managers for that kind of thing. I think Conte will be given a touchline ban, I think they both will.
“I actually don’t mind it but there is a fine line when it comes to these kinds of things. Conte is a passionate guy and it was no surprise to see him in the thick of it.
“But you have to live with the consequences.”

The managers squared up to each other for the first time at the Bridge after Tottenham drew level at 1-1.
At the end of the game, Conte and Tuchel shook hands but it appears Tuchel would not let go as another scuffle broke out between the benches.
